I know this may seem a little strange but there is so much you can do with a shelf and with personal touches it can really show your personality. They are also great when you are renting!
As I have said in my other Ultimate Dream Home design posts I know a lot of these houses are a little out of budget (well defiantly mine) but you can always take elements of a place and bring it into your own home.
